BABY TREK SPECIALLY FOR BEGINNERS:

Region: West- south of Leh.
Grade: Moderate
Period: March to December.
Duration: ( 4 Nights &  5 Days)

Through the Indus valley and the ancient kingdom of Sham, we will discover the main Ladakhi monasteries Alchi Monastery are all accessible by road, and Temisgang Castle, Ridzong Monastery & Nunnery, and Likir Monastery line the trekking route. This itinerary is of moderate difficulty and the path does not rise above 4500m. The trail crosses numerous villages where the people have kept their ladakhi ways and customs.

ROUTE

Day 1: liker – yangtang 3551 m, via Pobe la (pass) & Charatse La (pass) 4 to 5 hours. ( overnight home stays)
Day 2: yangtang – rizong – yangtang visit Rizong Monastery and back, 4 to 5 hours. ( overnight home stays)
Day 3: yangtang – hemis shukpachan 3696 m via Tsermangchan la ( pass) 5 to 6 hours. ( overnight home stays)
Day 4: hemis shukpachen – tingmosgang 3588 m via Mebtek la (pass) 6 to 7 hours. ( overnight home stays)
Day 5: tingmosgang – kahaltse 4 to 5 hours than drive to Lamayuru Monastery. ( overnight home stays)
Day 6: Drive back to Leh enroute visit Alchi Monastery.
